He is best known for his work on feature films CRAWL (Paramount Pictures), SLINGSHOT, STOCKHOLM BLOODBATH, iBOY (Netflix), LOOKING UP and WARNING SHOT, among others.

Most recently, he co-scored the upcoming THE OLD GUARD 2 (Netflix) alongside composer Ruth Barrett.

Since 2014, Steffen has also worked closely with top composers Hans Zimmer, Lorne Balfe and others, providing additional music for a diverse range of titles, including MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: FALLOUT and THE FINAL RECKONING, TOP GUN: MAVERICK, TWISTERS, ALIEN: ROMULUS, Marvel's BLACK WIDOW, BAD BOYS FOR LIFE, AD ASTRA, THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE, as well as high-profile TV series like THE CROWN, HUNTERS and HIS DARK MATERIALS, collectively aggregating over $7 billion at the international box office.
